About the Book

 The Universal Law of Business Development shares fundamental business teachings learned throughout 10 years of consulting and 6 years of corporate ladder climbing to help small business owners and non-profit founders prevent unnecessary spending, setbacks and losses from the start of business. 

This book is specifically for first-generation leaders, small business and non-profit founders because, unfortunately, we are vulnerable to misinformation, scams and inadequate investments simply because we don't have enough experience to know what to do when. That is until you read this book.

Reading this book will demystify the struggles and mistakes common for beginners in business or non-profit leadership whether young, old or in between, so you can understand why your investments in branding, marketing or sales may not have paid off (especially when you were promised they would).

 

 

About the Author

 
 
 

Caitlin Anne Thiede is the Founder of Storyspeak Enterprises, a progressive brand setting a new precedent for industry to operate in harmony with nature and for humans to take care of each other as Legacy Brand Leaders. (She's also on a mission to encourage people to stop selling an image - hence this raw pic of her a bit disheveled after working on the homestead.) 

 

Caitlin began working in small business environments in 2008. For the next six years, she received on-the-job mentorship from executives in various corporate roles. Her curiosity to understand the relationship between executive business operations and non-executive roles fostered a drive to dig deep with questions, research and - eventually - experience. In 2014, Caitlin left the corporate world to support small and mid-size business owners as a copywriter and consultant. 

After moving off-grid in 2020, Caitlin realized she couldn't continue business "as usual" because her traditional approach to business inadvertently rewarded a psychology she was trying to move away from since leaving the city.

She soon found the values she once relied on to survive in the hustle culture - dehumanization, emotional decision making and flaunting an image - 

were no longer a fit for her new way of life.

 

Since 2019, Caitlin has been cultivating a mission-mindset for business under a new service called The Legacy Brand Leader Curriculum. In 2023, she partnered with teammates to make humanized business teachings affordable and accessible in an online education format now known as The Legacy Brand Leader Blueprint for an approach to business that rewards patience, harmony and data-informed leadership.

This book shares Caitlin's logical methods adopted from executive leaders she admired in her own life.
