IN THIS LESSON
Now that you’ve learned about framework and foundation,
let’s explore the third component of business.
-
The third business component is an operation.
-
A business operation is the complete formation of workflows that a teammate, tool or technology follows to achieve a specific result.
The business operations can be compared to the day-to-day routines of keeping a household running smoothly.
The business operations rely on the foundation and framework activated previously to support consistent, quality output into the world for predictable results.
-
Once the initial framework of your business is built by you, the Executive Vision Holder, its recommended that you also build the operations.
Once you have the operations laid out manually, you are ready for teammate and technology to take over the operations on your behalf.
-
A business operation is built after the framework and foundation are complete (i.e. business plans).
-
Some examples of a business operations are:
Branding Operation
Marketing Operation
Sales Operation
-
Business operations result in:
Departments
Team Unification
Being ready for teammates & tech
Consistent results
Measurable progress
Transparency
Scaling
